October 21, 2005

HeavyMetalSource.com has uploaded a 24-minute audio/video interview with GOD FORBID frontman Byron Davis, conducted in Hartford, Connecticut on October 10. During the interview, Byron talks about tinspiration behin the title of the band's new album, "IV: Constitution of Treason", and the band's tribute to Dimebag, "Fallen Hero", which was the first song written for the new CD after the band learned of the guitarist's death while touring with MACHINE HEAD in Europe.

GOD FORBID are currently in the midst of the highly-successful Decibel magazine-sponsored Fury of The Fall tour with MESHUGGAH, THE HAUNTED and MNEMIC, which is the group's first U.S. trek in support of their highly-acclaimed new conceptual opus, "IV: Constitution of Treason". The album entered The Billboard 200 chart at No. 119 in its first week of release and it's also the first time the group has ever appeared in the Top 200 charts. A video for the album's blistering opening track, "End of the World", was just completed by acclaimed director Dave Brodsky (ALL THAT REMAINS, FIGHT PARIS, THE RED CHORD). Look for it to make its Fuse and MTV2 debut later this month.
